Whilst at Central, I made a pitch to Clearchannel for localising their US events portal for the UK market. These pitch visuals were accepted 'as is' and I had a hard time convincing the stakeholders that a more thorough design process should be employed. They liked what they saw already. They agreed to pay the requested fee for a thorough design and development process come what may, and so we spent 3 months exploring alternatives before I got the message that they really did want these designs 'as is'. Some tweaks were made to the info arc, after which we provided master templates and an online styleguide for their in-house teams.
